Hi, I took the mta assistant stockworker exam 1305 and passed with a 86. I have not heard from them since. I called them and they told me that only about 700 ppl took that exam....How long would i have to wait on average??????

You may have to do more than wait--you may have to take the exam again. In 2012, MTA will be hiring more than fifteen job titles. And for those who aren't aware, they probably aren't going to be listed in The Chief. Check http://exam.nyct.com for filing periods.

You won't get hired soon. If this is your first ever civil service test, you're in for a long wait.

It doesn't make any difference when you took the test, because if it's going to be given again, the current list will be expiring. C'est la vie in the world of civil service exams!

Because I happen to work for MTA, and I saw the list of tests that are going to be given throughout 2012.
