yeh they're not hiring in droves like before, but agree the current picture doesn't seem as bleak as '09 per some of my buddies in the field.. yeh they're somewhat expanding advisory/assurance due to IIFRS and other intl standards in the pipeline..

4 year old thread....wow....hopefully the OP got an MA by now or is working on one and can get hired with the Big 4 as he wishes. DH works for a big 4 and does do ind. taxes.
