To be honest I don't know why the OP wants to go to Little Italy. It's a tourist trap. They would be better off going to the Village for good authentic Italian food.

I agree but those that I listed do have NYC natives going to them to eat.
Best italian in the city? Roberto's in the Bronx. Also Tra Di Noi in the Bronx.
Actually,you might be right.Roberto's might be better than any of them.Mario's is up there too.
