I don't know if you're joking or not. But in my experience. The broom ain't it's all cracked up to be. I started bouncing in my district. But before I did I used to go out of town to the broom garage a lot. I thought it was pretty cool. No weather to deal with, save your back, etc. So I transferred to a broom garage to hold days. Let me tell you. Doing it here and there as opposed to every day is completely different. My back hurt worse from being hunched over in that broom and bouncing up and down. Then it ever did lifting 13 tons. And the aggravation of dealing with stupid people (the public) all day. The having to stay out all day everyday, you can't put in hours and go home early ever cause your on cleaning. Long story short I stayed for eight months and now I am in a heavy filthy district and have never been happier. But that's just my experience. Some of you guys may love it. And ps. Its not such a great place to do your probation. Lotta accidents and a lot of eyes on you cause you are on a cleaning function. You gotta really watch your times.

Yeah no emergency list for me either, holidays Sundays and charts are enough for me.
Believe it or not emergency list is where u make some easy cash a lot of times they call u in for any little threat of snow and if it's a Sunday that's a easy double day but u new guys will figure it out when the smarter guys who signed got u beat money wise
