Yeah I named mine broken plow blade and then his sister pothole maker. I drew pretty faces on them.

The highlight of the day was getting stuck down a tight block lol. Had to make 200 moves to get out without hitting anything

Yeah I squeezed down then couldn't go forward and knew I'd smash something backing out...had to call a friend cause there was a turn but a car on left side and a wall on the right so needed a guide...quite there maneuver list to get out without creaming the car. You get to that point (im not on probation mind you) where you're almost ready to say...Let's just hit the car and they can bill the city lol

You guys wasn't lying about when the plow trips holy crap scared the hell out of me. My radio also saved the day I was singing off key acting the fool trying to stay awake. Made it back safe is all that matters. Oh a guy in my garage came across a manhole cover that was half way down the block. He blocked the hole with the truck and called 911, going for that bronze metal at graduation ceremony I see.

Did anyone pass the written exam but not take the physical test?

I have a friend who passed the written exam, list #61XX. For whatever reason, he didn't get the letter to take the physical test and missed it. Until the list extension, he didn't think twice about it since he felt he had no shot anyway. The DSNY website says this:

Any candidate who passed the written exam # 6063 and has list # below 6,856 but was not scheduled for the physical test should visit the DCAS website for further instructions.

He called DCAS, and was told that if/when they offer another physical test, that he and anyone else who didn't take it will be invited to take it again.

My questions are: Has DSNY ever asked for a second round of physical tests? And would they wait until they hit 6856 before they even thought about doing another round?

With the list extension until 2016, the long amount of time since the written test, the last appointment # being 4052, and the physical test being given only up to #6856, I guess it would be possible to do another round, but I told him I have no idea. No one else that I know OTJ is really sure either.

Any info is appreciated.
