Wife and i live on the ground floor and we each sleep with earplugs. It works magic. We each been doing that way before we met so it was nothing new for us and was a welcomed plus lol.

My ear plugs worked so well last night that I overslept this morning lol

I find the earplugs themselves to be very uncomfortable. I can only keep them on for so long before giving up.

I've heard other people say this, too. But I find mine extremely comfortable and can't sleep without them -- even in a relatively quiet environment. There's something soothing about blocking out all noise. Try Mack's Pillowsoft Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs | Walgreens

I don't find the earplugs uncomfortable...but they seem to fall out when I sleep with them. Anyone else have this issue? Luckily (knock wood) these people don't make a lot of noise at night..

Yes! Excessive apartment and neighborhood noise adds another level of stress that will shed months or years off your lifespan in the form of chronic stress. Earplugs and white noise machines are only short term fixes.

What type of earplugs are you using? I don't use them since I found out wearing the foam earplugs to bed will make the ear canal sweaty and sometimes lead to clogged up ears a few days later which ironically helps reduce what noises you hear but it's no fun to deal with getting rid of.

I don't remember the brand...but they were highly recommended to me. They are bright orange.

I do believe that noise is bad for you. I plan to move to a quiet place (God willing) asap.
