Anyway, they still have things like small dinette sets, some shelving, straw bins/baskets, bright-colored plastic drinking glasses, shower curtains, party paper plates/napkins, some cookware, stools, terrific folding screens, etc.

This is too bad. It was a nice store -- not so much that the store was aesthetically pleasing; in fact it was cramped with crowded aisles, but the products they carried were quite useful and reasonably priced.
I hear the frontrunners are CHASE and WELLS FARGO...both outbid DUANE READE.
