I got a speeding ticket while driving in Boston. I tried to pay it online at
https://secure.rmv.state.ma.us/Citation/citInquiry.aspx. The weird thing is the site doesn't take my ticket's citation number. It says: Citation number not on record, verify and re- enter the citation number and offense date.
So I can't pay it off online. Two more days it would be over the 20-day period allowed. Tried to call their customer service, I'm told the hold time is greater than one hour. Lol！
If I don't pay it because the site doesn't have the citation number on record, what can happen to my NY State driving record? Will my Geico auto insurance premium increase?
