proselytizing

I'm sure I could make the list longer.
So how far does an eating ban go? Should a person not be allowed to eat a Nestle's bar or a small bag of Planter's peanuts or drink a can of soda or a bottle of Vitamin Water?

And therefore any and all vendors and concessionaries of foodstuffs of whatever type within the subway system should then have to be banned as well, for they encourage people to eat or snack on the subways.

Strictly speaking those are not allowed on Singapore's bus and trains, some people ignore and still eat, as long as they dont get caught.. But those are a minority.

We have been through that for many years now, and we dont die from not being allowed to eat on buses and trains..

Can we ban the homeless people who beg and go from carriage to carriage at each stop?

I believe this is in ban already but it is just not properly enforced because it is not a profitable type of enforcement.
What does the homeless have to lose when they break the ban? Being taken to prison for free food and board?

OP, as for kissing--I don't see it all the time. It's rare that I see couples sucking face--usually just small pecks. Not that big-a-deal. There's far more worse things I'd rather see banned and I think Hanna covered pretty much all of them.
Oh, i will start tak8ng picyures to convince you all that it is not a rare occurance. You might miss it if you only ride the train during rush hours when mostly decent and mindful citizens are travelling. If you go during off hours especially party nights, it is hard to miss it.

Bans shouldn't be enforced for the purpose of generating revenue. It should be for making our communities cleaner and decent.

I think maybe banning kissing in public in parks would be good. Like Zuccotti Park.

Damn, ya'll really complain about EVERYTHING. I seriously think a few of you should consider moving to the middle of nowhere, so you can live happy and alone. Seriously.

I hate to ride the subway with people who don't know about the benefits of a shower and a good deodorant. I also hate the smell of people who had kimchee or curry for dinner last night. I also hate the sour smell of someone who had one too much to drink last night. Also, cannot stand to see ratchet women wearing those cheap sheer tights when their day has come and gone.

These should be laws about all of these people but there aren't.
