Well we dont have a spike in shootings, and Nassau County's crime rate is the lowest since the 1950s.
All the young ppl that moved to the city are gonna get married and move back here since NYC wont be a safe place to raise a family anymore!
You guys get spikes in taxes...it's the bank account that gets either shot or stabbed.

I think the question is, what cave did the OP crawl out of. OP, you speak as if this is something new to anyone whose lived in NYC. Secondly, we don't know who you "told so" and we definitely do not care. Just another slime gooing and gloating over his perfect white picket fence in the outskirts of NYC and apparently, arousing himself at the sheer thought of having a better living condition than someone else. The crime spikes every summer in NYC, and goes down every winter. And last winter was a cold winter. Basically you're right. Rep!
Not even a year after the ignorant voters of NYC elected DeBlasio, they are already upset about the crime. What did you think was going to happen once cops had their hands tied by being afraid to use "Stop & Frisk"? The thugs now own the streets in the 'hoods and will start spilling over to other parts of the city.
This is just the beginning of what's going to be a long, hot, dangerous summer for NYC.
