Do you find it strange that I never use the subway?

I'm glad I don't have to put with it every day commuting to work, but I use it occasionally enough.

I don't find it strange that you don't use the subway. However, I do find it snooty that your options are walking and Uber. (Has Uber even been around for five years?)

I don't use the subway much either and, like you, I prefer being above ground. That's why I use buses.

I do find it strange that you live in NYC and don't use the subway. I think you fear being in enclosed spaces with ..... the sort of people that use subways.

I know a few people in Manhattan who rarely use the subway because they mainly use buses within Manhattan.

The title of your thread is misleading since you have actually used the subway.

I much prefer using uber and walking. I live around Madison Park and there is just so much around me so I don't need to travel far. When I travel out of the nabe, I just use a car.

What in the world is a "nabe"?

I'm not sure why some people find this strange but they do. I just much prefer the scenery from above ground and the subway isn't my thing.

How would anyone else know your subway use habits and why would anyone bring it up in conversation or even care?
