Hi, my brothers and dad are moving to the Bronx from Brooklyn today, so they r obviously new to that omarea. The thing is, I live In the Caribbean and I always spend thanksgiving with them and I'm really worried about the word of mouth description I've been getting about the Bronx.
I know that not everything u hear is true so I was hoping that someone who knows the area can tell me about corner university avenue and kingsbridge. Also how safe is it to walk from the 4 train to there at night.
Thanks so much for your feedback in advance!

youd need an extra measure of "looking over your shoulder" on Kingsbridge Rd at night.

It depends on from which part of Brooklyn they are leaving, and to which part of The Bronx they are moving to. Both boroughs have their dangerous and not so dangerous parts. The bigger draw back of The Bronx is that the less dangerous areas tend to be more remote from Manhattan, which might impact you if you are involved in nightlife there.

@Livingsinglenyc Yes I changed my mind about summer, tickets too expensive so I'll go with my usual thanksgiving.
Thanks for responding
