Immigration and Customs will not allow "mail order brides." You must show proof that you've actually met your fiance in another country before applying for a fiance visa. If the woman is from a "visa waiver" country, you must still apply for a fiance visa before bringing her over here on a legal permanent basis. Of course you can marry a foreign woman here without the fiance visa and wait for the next general amnesty, scheduled for 2018.

A board certified specialist is the same no matter where she/he trained. Have you looked into Geisinger?

I am not worried about those apes in the immigration. I mean I don't know anybody in those european countries and if I go there for 4weeks it does not mean that I'll find what I am looking for. But in NYC, I am afraid I could live for 5yrs and all I'd see is how the super rich date models and I work like a *****..

Geisinger is a hospital in the middle of nowhere really. There are many other and better hospitals in mid cized cities. For example U of Iowa is a very desirable place to do a residency. And it is competitive. I notice that basically any city outside of NYC, Boston, California, Washington - you can buy a modest house on that salary of $50k.

Is it too late for your to become a gynecologist? That would put you in contact with lots of women, and you could make money at the same time.

Let's see. The US immigration workers are "apes" and you don't like Americans. Maybe your native country would be better for you.

I don't find american women sexually attractive, with rare exceptions. As for americans in general, I think some are better and some worse than people from my country. But don't expect a subservient 3rd world monkey attitude from me.

Since apartments cost so much, I might not be even able to afford a car. But even if I were rich I don't think the hot women of nyc are easily impressed. So the question is how would you find a wife in nyc, if you are starting your career and you have no friends outside the hospital?
The answer is you don't. This is true both in Eastern Europe and America. Women flock to men who have the financial means to support them. If you are a cash-strapped medical resident and you aspire for "nice women", just grin and bare with it. When you are finally a physician and have found success, then you will have no trouble landing the women you want.

#1: Based on your post, I would doubt that you could get a New York woman to marry you, unless she were desperate or attracted only to your ethnicity (e.g. a Polish woman looking to marry a Polish man). It actually sounds as though you don't have high standards at all - you're only looking for the cheap equivalent of a trophy wife. Don't confuse having high standards with being superficially fixated on appearance. It's not surprising that not many women like you back. Have you ever wondered why?

#2: NYC is more competitive in everything.

I mean I can travel to different cities in europe for 4weeks per year, but I don't know how that would lead to any meaningful relationships?
As superficially fixated as you are on appearances, there has to be someone out there who's as equally superficially fixated on the financial and social trappings of dating a surgeon. Due to your limited free-time and somewhat specific requirements, I would probably recommend online dating. When filling out your profile, make sure to note that you're a surgeon, but leave out the fact that you're probably making something around $50k to $65k. On your dates, you're going to have to explain that you're not going to be making real "surgeon money" until you're an attending but since you're probably going to be too busy during your first couple of years, you should probably wait until you're a PGY3 or PGY4 anyway. Then the future Mrs. Ischu will only have to wait two or three years to live the lifestyle she desires.

While in residency, the salaries are actually similar, but still it is much more competitive to get into a residency in nyc, than for example in south carolina. And there, I would work less hours and be able to afford my own house or a bmw. So, if as a resident, I cannot pull a hot women in nyc, then whats the point of living in poverty for 5years in nyc? But it is kinda depressing when outside nyc nobody speaks my language
In addition to reimbursements, the lower compensation is probably a case of market forces like supply and demand.
  • There are many more physicians who would rather work in NYC than in the middle of nowhere, so practices in the middle of nowhere probably have to pay more in order to draw physicians out there.
  • The overhead for a NYC practice is also going to be a lot higher than overhead elsewhere.
  • There's also going to be a lot more competition for patients in NYC than in a smaller city.

What a cheerful personality! Despite your character flaws, I'm sure if you keep mentioning that you are a doctor, you'll find someone to marry you for long enough to take half your assets and demand child support for the next two decades ...
