If you can find your paperwork that they issued you when you were done with the service, it should state on there. Also, just because they can call you in X years doesn't mean they will.

I was a juror a month ago. They told me I was good for 6 years. However you can get called for federal jury duty . I think they said in 4 years.

Man you should really have held on to that letter they gave you. Just saying. Now suppose they fudge ur records and you have to serve again sooner than u should.

There is no rhyme or reasoning as to when they call you. If you served one year and they tell you that you have four years free of duty, they can still call you, but you have to show proof that you served. Yes, they can call you again, despite the fact they told you they'd leave you alone. It has happened to me and others I know. One person I know gets notices every two years.

Btw, I guess your getting called in 4 years is off the table, since the 4 year mark passed almost a year ago on 3/2/2014. You'll be coming up on 5 years in less than two months on 3/2/15.

It varies with the county you served in and the time you served. Last time I did state jury duty in Brooklyn, they told me eight years. But the feds can call you after two years, and every two years afterwards (if they want).

Sometimes you don't even have to show proof. My mom served but forgot to ask for the letter that they give you as proof of service. Unluckily she was called again after 6 mos. She called them to let them know she had already served 6 mos prior but that got her nowhere. So, she emailed the law clerk directly letting them know of her situation which got her an apology and she was exempt from having to serve.

I served last year in May.

if you served for more than 11 days than you will not be called for another 8 years. If you served for less than 11 days then you get the automatic 6 years.

i love big tiddays!!
