Ohh!! Isn't that special? Another gold fed upper crust that will and has no clue of reality. Like Leona said only the poor people pay taxes. Folks we are the peasants and we will continue to be squeezed so their children can find these $14M apartments for them. What a nice family! Who out there can't pay their $1500 rent bill or afford medical or go on a simple vacation. The inequality just continuous to grow. Many of these rich made their money through scams and crimes. Look at the Kennedys their fortune was made way back when with papa Kennedy and booze. But we the public put them on pedestals and look up at them why such awe. But you know a lot of this stays hush, hush, hush. Inside trading, Madoff's, back door deals. The arrogance just continuous to grow so does the entitlement. We are the cattle that keeps their lifestyle alive. God bless the working class!

I think the NYT is finally understanding emotion drives clicks. They can't stoop to the level of doing tabloid like pieces like the Daily Mail so this is their version of it. You got angry reading it. Mission accomplished.

So what. It's their money let them spend it how they like. Instead of respecting what people have and trying to improve your situation you want to take from them and make everyone less well off. Haven't you ever heard thou shall not covet your neighbors house, wife or possessions. It's because of people like that that people have jobs ranging from yoga instructors to contractors, window washers and doormen.

It's not necessarily that anyone is coveting their home or possessions but rather upset that they have access to such an extravagance while others live in substandard conditions. It's like someone taking a private 747 jet to Miami with no one else aboard. You can be upset over the waste of energy while not wanting the same situation for yourself. I believe that people should be able to buy themselves luxuries that they have earned, but it gets to a point where such waste and inequality drags down society as a whole. Misquoted Bible verses do not make it any better.

When I first checked the article, it had 103 comments. Now there are 268 and growing. This is on their front page. I stand by my analysis.

Yovanka Arroyo isn't very bad-looking. Did NYT say she's a widow?
