There's no law. It's company policy. I get paid bi-weekly. Some people get paid weekly. Some people get paid monthly. Some people get paid twice a month.

Should depend on the employeer and the job.

My company pays direct employees, both hourly and salary, bi-weekly. Our union employees are paid according to their contract, which is weekly.

I've worked for companies that pay both weekly and biweekly here. There's no real regs requiring one or the other but bigger companies do it biweekly to save on payroll costs.

Its completely depends on the companies wishes. As never shuts up stated the only reason as i would see for every other week is to save on payroll costs. Technically all city funded paychecks should be bi-weekly as well.

My dad gets paid weekly so I know there are still places that pay weekly. But by and large it seems most pay bi-weekly.

There's no law. It depends on how the company you work for wants to process payroll.
