It's certainly normal in my place.

Try an air purifier, if it bothers you.

A cheap fix that helps a lot: Buy a cheap 20 inch fan and tape a 20 x 20 furnace filter from Home Depot or Lowe's onto the intake side. Run the fan and keep the windows closed. It cuts down on the dust in the air and thus on the dust that settles on everything you own.

When the filter get's dirty, replace it...like every 2 or 3 months. Don't let it get too filthy or you might burn out the fan motor.

OP, the light is your real enemy. It is the light that creates the dust and lint. Turn off the flashlight and block any shaft of light from entering your house. The moment there is darkness, I bet the dust will cease to exist. Try it.

I can’t brlieve someone called you a troll. I totally understand and am going through the same thing, which is how I stumbled across this. So I guess we are just seeing dust and it isn’t billions of tiny bugs in our air. I’m still skeptical, lol.
