More than a several sluaghterhouses in South Bronx have goat meat. You would much rather get it from the Muslim butcher since in my experience, their slaughterhouses tend to be a little bit more better quality than Chinese ones. And the goat skin is disgusting!

So we stopped going for a couple months and walked in and said "goat or lamb" and he said "Lamb, nobody likes the goat." <I may have muttered "No kidding.">
So we enjoyed the lamb and other nice offerings.

Went again: it was GOAT and we left without eating.

After 1 year lease expired, so did the restaurant.

We played the same game with both BRICK LANE CURRY HOUSE buffets. Pity because one is only a block away, other down on East 6th.

Nobody likes a plate full of bones covered in curry sauce. It's a pain in the ass to eat without making a mess. And conflating it with lamb is a bald-faced lie.
Yeah a lot of people treat them the same but the meat texture/taste couldn't be any more different. It's like saying veal and beef are the same.
