Spoke with a leasing specialist yesterday on the phone, and he was a really cool dude. He told me that he was trying to approve my file. All we have is a small obstacle to overcome to do that. It will only take a bit. No biggie. Trying as fast as I can for your sake guys.

Feeling like Tuna Fish with awesome sauce. yay.

I'm going to conclude that there's probably enough units for us small bunch, which is pretty smart if you ask me. Put the cool dudes that have gotten along together.

Well, I did finish handing in the rest of my doc's on Friday, so we'll see how it goes, Mr.Chen. It might take a week or something I bet. The leasing agent was really cool with me, so it is only fair to give them time to do their thing. I'll update whenever I get a response.

I have not received any news since the end of April. It seems that they proceed our cases in a batch. Only after all of our cases are approved, they will pass on the City Department and then arrange units viewing.

Our file is approved already, so that's my new news. I am super leaning towards the batch part. The City part should be the easiest. How are you holding out, hlch? It looks like the 1bd is still up on some sites. Also, I love how the first bathroom in the floor plans i've seen is in the foyer, spot on to the genius who designed it. I would've done exactly the same. Convenience first to save time. Anyway, we just wait now to see what happens.

Oh darn. I read your posts about 435 w31st; we didn't apply there because of my dad's situation. I really do hope you get a 2bd that you're looking for with your daughter. At least it will be easy to walk her to the mall with the toys r us that's near there. Right now, i'm still waiting for the city to review our files. We haven't heard a word yet on my end since we got approved. Maybe it might take a few more days or something.

Hi guys, I signed the lease and got the keys after they showed me the apartment. The building is wonderful and the room is so small that it will be full if putting in a queen bed and a desk.

That is amazing. I would suppose the premise is to help many. Smarter to give (4) laptops worth $25 each, rather than a $100 one to a person in need, in my opinion. Chips are getting nano-er everyday.

Anyway, I haven't been contacted by Breaking Ground yet. I guess the only ones left are me and PraTapVIA57? I was always the last one picked at school, so no worries. I'll weather the storm

Surprise , surprise:

https://a806-housingconnect.nyc.gov/...entPdf/382.pdf Application deadline:
10/11/2017

The good news is that The Wavecrest Management Team is much better than Breaking Ground. The bad news is that the income bracket has changed and it is great for some, while is terrible for others. Oh well....
Good luck to all candidates.
