The new Chinatown Restaurant in the Bronx had some very hungry guests this week, but they were not your usual paying customers.

They were two huge raccoons!

A video shows them climbing a metal gate and a restaurant worker fighting them with a broomstick.

I saw this on the news; thought they were muskrats at first. Proof that no animal is immune in NYC.

There was another article recently about the growing raccoon population in Brooklyn because residents no longer want to kill them after capture. They release them in the park instead, but the raccoons are so used to the streets so they come back out. I have one that visits my yard weekly. I think by law you are supposed to kill it if you capture one.

Don't bother them, they don't bother you ..
Obviously he placed an order and they didn't want to serve them .. I would be upset too and make a scene.
Hopefully next time they won't have to go to such extremes to get their voices heard
