Many Mexicans work in Midtown or Downtown restaurants, hotels, bars, construction.

Maybe not living in those areas but they certainly work in almost every restaurant in those areas. But there aren't a lot of hispanics living downtown period outside of LES.

Growing to meet the city's demand for cheap labor. While other ethnic groups are busy carving up land and becoming the next generation of the city's power brokers.

That makes no sense. No one knows or cares where you live. You can live in Staten Island and see almost no Koreans, that doesn't mean they don't exist in the city in any numbers. The problem is that you haven't been able to qualify your statements nor have explained why what your saying makes anymore sense than what anyone else is saying. Given the apparent inability for you to state those, then it makes sense to rely on the stats and the stats basically say you're wrong in almost every conceivable way.

Try leaving your house. You are literally talking about 4% of the city.
