Need a ferry from Jersey to Brooklyn. GSP to Staten Island to sit at the Verrazano is a nightmare. I look at the map and think "if I could just fly over the water.,."

Ferries come and ferries go and then they come and go again. It all hinges on this simple sentence:
[To fulfill the mayor’s promise, the city will have to contribute a substantial operating subsidy, a commitment that several of his predecessors were unwilling to make.]

They depend on government subsidy and when the subsidies dry up, so does the ferry service.


People who think themselves ABOVE riding in the subways should hire their own chauffeurs or WALK.
