Curious to if they are hiring on the day of OPA? Or is this just informational for the MTA to see if the high scorers are still interested in the position?
I got 4 wrong on the 6601 exam. Anyone with same amount wrong get letters?

Thanks!!
No, they aren't hiring on the day of the OPA. You have to pass that to move onto the drug test & eventually medical.
Hi all... I’m also scheduled for the OPA for exam 6601, no clue what to expect. I did check my answer key and only got 2 questions wrong. Hopefully this process doesn’t drag. Good luck to all that’s scheduled as well
i heard if you cannot make it on your assigned OPA day, you can get it changed. Any thoughts on this? I was rear ended the morning of mine and had to get towed. Thus I didn’t make it. I tried emailing the exam unit several times. I also called and was told to email the same address that Ive been emailing. No one bothers to respond....
Hey sorry to hear that but the exams unit does reply to the email sent to them. I had to email my update address and got replied to within hour that it was updated.
Hope it works out for you!
Are people still getting letters for this OPA or they stopped sending them out?
I know its been answered, but has anyone recently gone through this Oral Proficiency Exam for Conductor exam #6601?* Exactly what is it, and is it difficult to pass??* Any info is most appreciated.

From the previous threads I hear it’s not so difficult and it’s two parts. A buddy of mine is going tomorrow at 2pm.
I got 4 wrong and waiting for a letter so I can feel the process moving forward.

Correct. I took mine earlier this month. There's two parts. Memory and the Oral. For the memory you listen to audio and then answer some questions, once you move onto the next phase yout cannot change your answers. For the Oral you will be given some scenarios and explain to the monitors what would you do in such scenario.
