Uh...sounds like the OP had a baby in Louisville around 2014/15 and now moved to NYC and has a toddler.
She never said she lived in NYC, and repeatedly ignored all questions about that, and seemed to have no knowledge of NYC. It's safe to say she isn't in NY.

That explains everything, though. If she's in Kentucky, then the problem might be that the people upstairs have a horse in their apartment.
I thought it was strange that she said there are no apartments available for months. I know that in NYC there is so much availability that just about every building is offering a free month or two of rent. It's still possible that she moved to NY, but I doubt it.
