Model of Drone? I don't think phantom drones can fly in my neighborhood due to software. Software does not allow drones to fly in an airport zone. I live in an airport zone. Its not a dji.

I don't think it's a good idea to be flying drones so close to LaGuardia. Drones are only allowed in a handful of city parks.

Yep. Only a handful of parks. In Brooklyn for example by Floyd Bennett field its ok. its ok to fly in Prospect Park too. Much of the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens is off limits. If any drone goes up past 400 feet. Air Traffic Control can actually see the drone or see its ping on the radar in the 5 mile drone exclusion zone. Drones are not safe to fly around here due to huge population of people.

Nice shots Bronxguyanese. Must be fun taking these photos.

I wonder how many UFO sightings over the last few years are really drones. I see them hovering occasionally. The sun glaring off them can make it look like an Alien craft.

I will await the tin foil hat jokes. Im ready.

Taking pics with drones are fun, but it can be dangerous as well. Thankfully I know what I'm doing and I'm registered, plus insured. Flying a drone at night is the worse. I flew my drone at night a couple of times. Boy you cant tell where your drone. I pushed my drone towards the sky, and its hard to tell if its a drone, or an large aircraft. A good thing my drone has a return to home function. The drone was half a mile away from hovering near Hunts Point.
