Gangi says that de Blasio hasn't done enough to end mass incarceration. De Blasio started out trying to allay the fears of certain so called conservatives by appointing Bill Bratton. Of course Bratton was forced out and finally we have a chief of police with no ties to the Dinkins, Giuliani, or Bloomberg administrations.

So it's quite possible de Blasio could be defeated from the left and Gangi could become the mayor. This would have interesting implications for the state.

Are you pissed that we're not saying "goodbye and good riddance" to this Bensonhurst born?
