Yee because taxpayers should not be subsidizing the salaries of others. Plenty of New Yorkers work several jobs to make ends meet to avoid getting gubment handouts. Handouts beget more handouts, and on it goes.
Even more reason to cut taxes for multi-millionaires and billionaires so there'll be more to trickle down.
