Does anyone have anyplace to recommend, preferably in Manhattan, that does BYOB with no corkage fee?
We had a good Indian restaurant that allowed us to bring wine and it makes for a nicer experience without breaking the bank. But after a year or so, they got their liquor license so no more BYOB.

I find that most nice restaurants with no corkage fees in Manhattan requires that your wine be pre-approved by the sommerlier who also gets to try a sample of your wine. So if you have a decent wine collection and don't want to pay corkage you can try the below. Make sure you try a platter of their cheese and cured meats to go with your wines.
I'm not looking for a place to open a bottle of Chateau Latour but rather some good food to go with my $5.99 bottle of Argentine Malbec called ASTECA, my daily vino. A corkage fee with a $6 wine seems a little discordant.
