i remember there was a restaurant in BK created by some Canadian white woman that was selling wine in a brown paper bag, had gun shots on the walls, etc. People cried racism and the lady had to shut down i believe.

I think so. The co-owner's a Bronx native and all those involved seem to have a knowledge and respect for old school rap. Not some corny mis-appropriation.
