Just north of City College. Those homes are beautiful. This is the Sugar Hill district. Lovely old buildings that are being renovated and beautiful tree lined streets.

A lovely home, especially the oversized windows.
But I'd have to turn it down because I am too old to learn to play the piano.

For me, that is a dream home. I once lived in a place near this location and the interior of this place is a blast from the past. I had to check the article for an address/street name because the interior almost looks identical to the place I lived.

Welp, bye bye Hamilton Heights / Sugar Hill.

Incredible home. For that price I'd have a hard time buying a 2 bedroom ultra modern luxury condo facing the Hudson. For some reason I'd feel paranoid living in there though with all that space and points of entry. Reminds me of the movie Safe Room.

That's in the historic district. Covenant Avenue is full of these beauties. Lovely little stretch there. One of those homes were actually featured of Million Dollar Listing.

The exterior is not gawdy. It is over done though. Good eye. Yeah it is just over furbished or whatever the word is - overdone but nicer than the building Im in now. I do like realness and the refurbishing is too clean and perfect but it's going to sell better that way.

I don't think it's gaudy either. It's a really beautiful house.

I googled, and the house is actually a SRO being used as a 2 family so I guess the buyer would need to get a new C of O. If you put down 20%, which is close to 700K, the mortgage will be less than 14K per month!
