I drive by the one on Myrtle Ave and they have been closed for a while now. Seems like 2020 is a long time, but then I see an apartment building on top... Look like new housing as well. The one on East New York Ave, need to literally blow up.. FOR REAL!!!
It's been a while since I went to one over near 161st (I forget where). I'm actually somewhat excited for this haha. 4138 Broadway one excites me the most, used to going to Key Food up there and helps me plan a bit more if Washington Heights is still in the cards in the future.

Yep. Asians do not like anything from American stores. This store has been here for decades, now has to shut down.
A lot of East Asians are pretty picky about value or good produce. H Mart ate the lunch of a lot of places because their produce was way more varied and fresher than a lot of the other markets around it.
That being said, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Fairways, and Costcos usually have sizable Asian clientele.
