I'm surprised no one took time to post this one up. One of the. Most beloved new Yorkers. A man the defied the ages and societal changes by creating heros and anti heroes. Especially the most iconic hero Spider-Man who swings from building to building in nyc. I just want to say, rip Stan Lee.

Maybe that's why he made it to 95.


I think of him as a Californian rather than a New Yorker, although I know he was born in the Bronx.


I had HUNDREDS of Marvel and DC Comics, neatly arrayed in a 5 foot drawer. The week I went off to college my mother deep sixed them, along with the condo that I could have traded them for.+


I hope his passing conferred some sort of super-power on him. RIP.

Bob Kane the creator do batman is also from the Bronx. The borough of the Bronx help produce two of the best fictional heros batman and spiderman. Thanks Bob Kane and Stan Lee.
