Working theory is these co-living units will help create "affordable" housing.

Beds? How lame. How about individual rooms.

Office sharing now co-living sharing. The loops that the elite put the middle class through is crazy.

This just formalizes the fact that many people in NYC cannot afford to live alone in an apartment by themselves. It's the nature of much of the rental market and it was time the city and developers realize that.

Those are not really single room occupancy.

Its more of a multiple bed occupied single room (MBOSR)

I don't like the happy advertisement. It's an AirBNB.

It's very sad. Even in the last 10 years NYC has become even more unaffordable for average people. Many professionals can't afford to live alone even in the outer boroughs.

It's a WeWork in an apartment environment.

I think I mostly don't like the photo of the white millennial kid. He is some annoying "mastermind" behind this concept? So he single handedly figured it all out then, huh? The brilliance just shines from his profile photo, yeah. He figured how to put a f-ing ping pong table and snack machine in the game room and cram a bunch of beds into a room like a youth hostel? Ping pong tables keeps everybody happy playing games in NYC huh?

This is a step down from the real potential to help people with housing in NYC.
