I mean if the Wuhan virus starts spreading in the subway I am just not taking the subway anymore. And more than likely our office would shut down and everyone works from home.

But good news is Moderna just created a vaccine and it is being shipped to the NIH to begin clinical testing

What would happen to the subway system? I would hope nothing. It should just be business as usual. Ignore it. No announcements or anything.

A virus, seems to me, is so small; you should be able to bash its little head in.

what a luxury that is.....

i have 2 jobs - one, I have to show up (and open up) ....and the other - plenty can be done
from home...ahhhh.

the subway, grand central station, madison square garden concert, your local hotdog vendor,
going to the movies, getting into an 'uber' (which I myself don't use--if i need car service,
just call the car service guy in the neighborhood--they still exist)...everywhere is vulnerable for everything....

but...........

........
Praise the Lord....(thank you).

I don't miss working in the city.

no more train to work [to the city] for some years now.... maybe once a week i'll jump on the train.
Even those times, early in the a.m., folk using it as their bedroom. It's very sad.

Surprisingly I still had to wait to be seated on Saturday. I don't think it affected some a lot but definitely less people than prior times but it is not empty. Some of the folks wearing the lower quality masks doesn't do much good. You have to wear a N95 mask to be property shielded. This virus kills a lot of old people, so far the stats show anyone older than 70 who gets it means death. There are no cases of children with it, it seems they are immune to the virus.

It doesn’t need the subway to spread. The first New Yorker has been diagnosed.

I just wish they would clean and sanitize the subway poles, etc. it’s really gross down there.
