As New Yorkers look for signs big and small that the city is starting to return to normal, the head of Madison Square Garden James Dolan hopes a winning season will play a role.
”They're all empty right now, but when this place is full, there's no place like it in the world,” Dolan says, as he looks out across an empty Madison Square Garden.
With a Knicks winning streak, Dolan said he hopes to set up an outdoor watch party for the many fans who won’t be able to attend games because of pandemic restrictions
Dolan says he dreams of a winning season that will help lift the spirit of the city because the Knicks and Rangers are part of the heart and soul of NYC
Although there are August shows on the calendar, Dolan says expects concerts to return to his venues in September. Once concerts resume, there may not be a single dark night at MSG because all the acts want to play and will take any night they can get .
