Bike (whether peddle or ebike or motorbike) is much easier for criminals to get in and out quickly on city streets. Autos are easier to track and identify.

Gunman on e-bike kills man sitting in car in E. Harlem

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An e-bike-riding gunman opened fire on a man as he sat inside a car in a deadly East Harlem shooting Sunday morning, police said.

The daytime shooting unfolded on Third Avenue, at E. 123rd Street, just before 11 a.m. when the gunman rode up on the bike and fired shots, according to police.

Officers responding to a 911 call found the victim sitting in his sedan with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified.

Ebikes or no ebikes, nyc is very lucky we are not on the level of L.A. drive by, or Columbian sicarios on dirt bikes.

It's starting to make the news . A delivery man gets stabbed by some man on a bicycle,run ups and stabs, and the quick suv drive by ,with temp plates,of course.

I dont see color and a crime, but poverty and struggle for a dime!
