we have a chihuahua so they like the warmth, so when we are out we dont leave the a/c on, I just keep the windows open and he is fine.
his regular body temp is 103 normally, and chihuahuias do not like the cold at all.

oh thank god! I probably missed where you're going if you shared that, but have fun anyway, even if you're working!

I'm bouncing around. Staying in midtown for a couple of weeks, then Jersey City for a couple of months and then Glendale for another couple of weeks.

No I can't. Don't play around with heat. It can bring on chronic inflammation and even strokes.

To be fair, I grew up with just fans and didn't have air conditioning until I was at least 18 or 19 so it was not abnormal for me to be warm and probably why I hate the heat!

Me too but kids are less vulnerable to the negative effects of heat. Once you hit mid 30s your margin for error gets much slimmer...

Boy it's taking a while to get my place cooled down. The humidity tonight is insane. Came home sweating just picking up some Japanese food. Had to take a shower immediately, which is usually not a must, but it is in this weather.

Yeah, it's weird. Over the weekend, it was hot, but very much bearable. In fact, I was outside walking all weekend and loved it! But tonight, I just went out for just 30 mins to grab something from the store and came back home with my shirt all wet! Very odd.
