These big meets have the possibility of becoming major big spreader events for the new covid strains. I don't think some people realize that the vaccine efficacy can be cut by 20% not to mention any other underlying conditions you have may cut it further.

Yeah. My immediate reaction when I read that line-up was "meh". Bruce is cool. He puts on a hell of a show but he's everywhere! Talk about over exposure. And I like Simon but only with Garfunkel (I had to google to see if he was still alive).

Bruce, Paul, Jennifer Hudson. That's "dad rock". Not that there's anything wrong with that but I hope they extend the line up to include more current acts that display a wider range of genre.

Five boroughs, five concerts: De Blasio unveils NYC ‘Homecoming Week’ schedule

The shows will take place over the third week of August, one in each borough.

The first concert, on Monday, August 16, will be at Orchard Beach, in the Bronx. The following night Richmond County Bank Park, on Staten Island, will host a second concert.

That Thursday, the third concert will take place at Brooklyn Army Terminal, and the fourth will be hosted in Forest Hills Stadium, in Queens, on Friday night.

Isn't it customary to have concerts in the city's park every year. I know i attend these concerts. There was just a huge free jazz concert last weekend in my neighborhood.

I know there have always been concerts in central park.

For once i am going to agree with seventh and say u posters are being jaded.

I have seen michael bolton, baby face, brian mcknight in city park concerts within the past 4 years.

I have attended some pretty cool park concerta with great music if i may say so myself.

For the record i have found the attendees to most park concerts to be the mature crowd.

I wonder if they're having trouble booking top performers other than the ones already mentioned. Or maybe everyone's schedule is still up in the air but no names as of yet.
