I feel like it depends on the day for me. Sometimes the windy streets in Forest Hills Gardens is perfect, other times somewhere like Sylvan Terrace in Washington Heights is great, and sometimes I'd prefer to be on a brownstone block in Southern Brooklyn.
Manhattan - Convent Ave north of City College
Bronx - Mosholu Parkway
Brooklyn - Lots of contenders in Brooklyn Heights
Queens and Staten Island - I really don't know tbh
Manhattan: Park Avenue, Upper East Side - Streets are pristine & spotless, as are the wonderful co-ops and condos.
Bronx: Palisade Avenue, Spuyten Duyvil/Riverdale - Offers incredible views of the Hudson River & The Palisades. Quaint, suburban feel.
Brooklyn: Shore Rd, Bay Ridge - Views of the Narrows on one side with multi-million dollar homes on the other side and nice pre-war co-ops.
Queens: Shore Rd, Douglaston - Beautiful water views with multi-million dollar homes on the other side. Quaint, suburban feel.
Staten Island: Lighthouse Av, Lighthouse Hill - Like the other hilltop neighborhoods on the island. A real treat and escape.
Which street in each borough do you find the most attractive and/or scenic?
For Brooklyn, it's a toss up between Eastern Parkway and Ocean Parkway
For Manhattan, Park Avenue
For the Bronx, Pelham Parkway easily.
I had to think for a while for Queens, but I eventually settled with Francis Lewis Boulevard. It's a really pretty street, specifically the Cunningham Park stretch.
Pretty much agree except for Park avenue. To me , Riverside Drive is hands down the most attractive in Manhattan.
I think what makes Park Avenue especially interesting is that it's sort in the middle of everything, but at the same time, it has its very own distinct vibe. This is especially true of Park Avenue south of 96th for the entirety of the Upper East Side. You walk down the street and you instantly feel how exclusive it feels and pristine. The streets are spotless for the most part (especially on the Upper East), something that you rarely find in NYC, even along parts of 5th Av. Those pre-war buildings are quite exquisite. You can then walk one block east on Lex and it is totally different world, and much dirtier. lol
These are kind of default answers. In Manhattan, that block of E. 16th St. with the Friends Seminary school that leads into Stuyvesant Square Park. Wonderful nineteenth-century feel, well-shaded, with green at one end. I imagine it's a bit less pleasant when school is getting in/out, though.
At least in Manhattan, I’d have to go with Riverside Drive. The sweep of the Hudson against the impeccably well-maintained pre-war apartments is just gorgeous. IMO no other street in the city comes close.

Manhattan has so many places to choose from - I also love the east-west streets of the Upper West Side, and there's lots of beautiful streets in the West Village. I also love Sylvan Terrace and Hamilton Terrace.
I think for Queens, I'd go for somewhere in the Jackson Heights Historic District, which to me is reminiscent of the development you see throughout Upper Manhattan and the northwest Bronx.
