It's getting creepy how cases are spreading internationally. Yesterday it was Massachusetts, today was NY and Italy. Before then it was UK, Spain, Portugal, and Canada.

"For that reason, she added, it’s important to avoid stigmatizing infected people. Many of the current cases are in men who identify as gay, bisexual, or men who have sex with men—an unusual pattern not seen in previous monkeypox outbreaks. That has raised questions about a new route of transmission, but sex obviously involves prolonged close contact, which is how the virus normally spreads. "

No it's not. These viruses have been around for years. Usually from poorer areas. Back in the day travel was for the wealthy. Now everyone travels and things spread.

People were too dense to realize that covid was just an easy warm-up for worse possibilities.

You'd think that people never heard of Ebola.

And not everyone arrived in this country on the Mayflower ?
And in good old USA,where do all the Italians,Irish,Chinese come from?

But it said it is not a sexually transmitted disease, but so far the men have engaged in sex with other man/men which one may assume it is anal sex and/or oral sex?
so besides being in close proximity, there could be exchange of bodily fluid?

NONSENSE.

Anyone can get it from having sex with a male OR female. Close contact is how it spreads.
