MetroCards will be replaced by OMNY by 2023. How do we feel?

Some would say they saw this coming, I honestly didn’t see it coming this soon

OMNY sucks because they don't have the monthly unlimited.

I’ve never downloaded the app but if they don’t that sucks. Do they have unlimited weekly?

I def love the tap feature on my phone. I always used to either lose my metro card or be stuck in line tryna refill as I’m already late for work lol.

I only go to the office twice a week so not sure how this affects unlimited rides

I read that OMNY machines will only depense one ride cards and that for multiple/reusable cards one will have to purchase at other retailers (for example, CVS) for those who don't have smartphones or don't want to use their smartphones to pay for public transportation. I don't understand why those machines wouldn't sell also multiple/reusable OMNY cards as well?!

What is you don’t have a smart phone. Or no cell phone at all.
Not everyone wants to have a cell and be connected to the machine.
