You know where money is going to come from; if savings cannot be found via budget there will an increase in taxes, fees and surcharges.

In fact even with savings found in budget there likely won't be enough of that in coming fiscal years to fund the wet dream wish list from democrat, socialists, progressive democrats who control city hall.

City council must face elections next year (due to redistricting) so don't expect anything major until after 2024 election cycle is over. After that all bets are off.

All that federal covid money is drying up and long as GOP controls House there won't be much more coming NYC or NYS way. Schumer and Jeffries likely will try to help one or both, but it's likely to be slim pickings until 2025 when a new POTUS and Congress is elected. Should GOP keep House majority and win senate say goodbye to all that money thrown NY's way.

answer is simple. Cut goverment budget. We need less government, not less. Government screws up almost anything they touch

He only agrees to consider it ( hybrid work) and why not ?? The city needs to attract talent and stop the bleeding of skilled workers leaving. It’s a smart move and it doesn’t necessarily increase the budget.
He may ask for something in return. That’s not weakness, it’s common sense.
