Huh? They’re a little weird being closed on Sundays but I basically ignored everything else…because the food is genuinely bland. Bland food with a following is strange. I don’t know why everything has to be tied to politics. That’s REALLY weird, and probably unhealthy besides.

Actually the hate has a lot more to do with supporting anti-LGBTQ causes and statements on such by the founder/CEO.....
And it's in Marble Hill, so while on the Bronx "mainland" technically it's in northermost Manhattan. Read up on that weird quirk of geography....

Heh to the Marble Hill. I think Marble Hill is a nice (in a rustic kind of way for NYC) area from a Google Street View perspective. I haven't been there in decades.
