When I am in Fulton Center, it's usually on a weekday morning. Half of the commercial spaces are closed and it looks a little bit bleak. Shake Shack was crowded, I will say.

That whole transportation center was a stupid idea from the outset. It would have failed regardless of the crime situation . The same with Godzilla's carcass the built over the WTC PATH station.

If it wasn't for all that federal funds sloshing around post 9.11.01 things may have been different. But you know NYS/NYC government; never let a bad situation go to waste.

I went there a few times before moving nine years ago. It was shiny and new!!! I'm seeing that's not the case anymore if it ever was. I like the other quote about Godzilla's carcass by the WTC... Went there also, all high-end stores that most people (even NYers) can't afford. Is anyone surprised? Even the management companies can't make a profit or want to deal with the headaches.
Westfield entered the agreement before the city started the catch and release game and gave everyone free metro cards and Yankee tickets. It's a shame what the city will do to protect the criminals.

Westfield also had to spend $690K (approx $13K/week) last year to repair damage done due to vandalism. Even large operations have a limit as to how much money they can lose to theft and vandalism.

They need to take the city and all those politicians to court allowing this nonsense.
The huge wave of exits is just about at its crest.
