And there are only 6 at the dock! Watch as he rides down the river to count how many more LOL

Remember how electric scooters were marketed as "Green" and to help the environment?

Remember how I laughed a couple years back when these scooter companies said they were bringing rental scooters to the Bronx because of the environment and it will help people get to work and I laughed?

I said scooters will be stripped and trashed and stolen?

Once again certain people live in la la land when it comes to stuff like this, but they say I'm crazy

What is the point of this thread? Any debris in the river is bad for the environment, no matter what it is

Will 9 zillion cars, trucks and airplanes cruising across the planet I doubt that a few electric scooters are going to cause much more harm.

Leaking lithum ion batteries into a river, no big deal

He said in comparison to the gazillion cars roaming around, it's minor. Not that it's not an issue at all.

And electric scooters are MUCH better for the environment than people getting into their combustion engine powered cars to go down a few blocks for a jug of milk. In addition to burning fuel into the atmosphere, most cars on the road are leaking some sort of fluid, ranging from transmission fluid, to antifreeze, to brake fluid, etc., all highly toxic stuff that flows down into rivers and streams.

We've become so dependent on cars in this country it's ridiculous. Thankfully, that trend is starting to reverse itself.

I guess as long as we don't start drinking water from the Bronx River, 6 lithium batteries won't cause too much harm.
Werdy, divide 6 by the number of lithium batteries you imagine are in the City to see how serious the problem is.
