"Rape Free since 2000!" Seriously though...this thread will likely deteriorate into an ugly mess rather quickly but nonetheless...I did not hear much in the way of bad press i.e. any major problems this year. Did anyone hear/read anything?

Well we did not have to wait too long for the typical ignorant hateful comments! Nonetheless...the parade was quiet this year....hopefully this will be a trend!

My friend told me it was wack. From the photos they took it seems that there wasn't much people. A few people I know fainted thanks to the conditions. Another one almost got into a fight and had her ass grabbed. Sorry but Puerto Ricans are criminals through and through. I never here any of this happening in the Dominican parade in August.

Apologize for what?

Listen I know all Puerto Ricans are not criminals. But the vast majority of them in NYC rely on public assistance and commit a plethora of the crimes here. They are rascist to Dominicans and to every other latin american country, and as a result alot of us dont get along with Ricans and dont even consider you people to be hispanic. The lack of the spanish language really puts a damper on Puerto Rican culture. But I never heard of a rape crime commited in the Dominican parade, nor have I ever heard one of them grabbing a girls ass.

Well I walked by the parade and thru Central Park on Sunday and did not see anything criminal at all. Also I don't think Puerto ricans are criminals, there are just a few bad apples, but most Puerto Ricans I have met tend to be nice people. Well the ones I choose to meet.
