I have a job offer in NYC and plan to move into NY in the next month
currently we stay in TN, I would like to know where the Kerala/malayalee community is in NY, I have heard from sources they are located in
Rockland, just wanted to know if there is any strong Kerala/malayalee presence in nassau county
The South Indian/Kerala community is spread out over the Tri-State Area.
Nassau county has a healthy population as well as Suffolk. Yonkers and Westchester County as well as Rockland County has a decent population as well.
Best bet would be to do a search for NY malayalee associations.
But any of the suburbs in NY and NJ near NYC is guaranteed to have a malayalee or more!
Good luck.
I'm in search of Malayalam speakers, who can also read and write, who would be interested in doing some interpreting work for NYC public schools. If you are interested, please email me at:

Thank you,
