I absolutely love how you take your pictures, they almost look like paintings.
Yes, The Cloisters are a wonderful place, I was there maybe 5 yrs ago. Hubby when he was in college (50's) used to go there to study, no distractions/noise.

Those are sweet pics. I love the Cloisters. One of my favorite places to visit and take people in NYC when they are in town. People are usually impress by its setting and the religious art.

when the lighting is very dim i use a technique called hdr or high dynamic range photography. i take a bunch of shots at different exposures and using special software from photomatix i blend them together . i can blend them and give anything from an artsey sureal look to just very natural looking..

The park around the cloisters is a known cruising spot for gay men. My friend lives across the street and has shared some rather interestng stories with me!
