Yes you should be. I would contact DCAS to see if they have your proper address.

I called up and the automated response said i'm on outstanding certification... i'll give them another call tomorrow. I called the other day and they do have the proper address in the system.

The information the poster gave you is correct. It does not matter if you're going for Train Operator, Conductor, Bus Operator, etc. All you will do is take a drug test, be given an employment packet and sent home until they call you for the medical.

Ok I'll take your word for it but I just questioned his statement mainly because on my letter it's states I will be taking a full medical ie: hearing, vision, etc. not just urine. Also I was told when I called that I will be filling out a 20 page packet the same day as the medical on monday. Idk if they changed the process a little to push us through. Anyway I'll see what happens on Monday.

I hope I am wrong also since I am about 500 list numbers higher then you.
How many T/O's are there? No more then 2,000 right?

DCAS automated line(212-669-1357) is updated at the beginning of the week most of the time but
it can also give you outdated info as well. The Chief online and or print edition will also have updates
on the list.
