Other than the media pushing what seems a distant relation to actor/model Tyson Beckford, this is still a very sad story. MTA driver killed after truck allegedly stolen by Tyson Beckford's nephew collides with bus in Greenwich Village - NY Daily News

Nephew isn't exactly a distant relation.

I hope they nail this guy to the wall. It's a shame he isn't the one who got killed.

Well maybe or maybe not. However from the way the article is written you would think the guy was Tyson Beckford's son or that he otherwise had direct influence over the guy. For all we know the kid could just be a relation riding his famous uncle's coat tails into fame and or fortune.

Was actually down in that area last week (Meatpacking) and was pretty amazed at how even on a weeknight how many idiots were roaming around wasted or whatever. Seems always to be the money "limo" or MB driving set IMHO.

He must have had some influence over him, they were out drinking together last night just before the jerk decided to steal the truck, from what I read.
